  • Regular season practices begin August 1st
  • Practices are held at Conway Middle School.
  • PLEASE BE ON TIME to drop off and pick up your athlete from practices
  • Football season consists of a Jamboree and nine games. Teams who make it to the playoffs and AAU Nationals will continue to practice into December
  • Football practice times and the practice location will change late in the season due to daylight savings time

  • Cheer season consists of cheering at nine regular-season football games, some playoff games if our football teams advance, and competitions
  • The practice schedule will increase to four days a week during competition season, which is September—December, and the practice location will change due to daylight savings time

Home Games: Boone High School Stadium & Oak Ridge High School Stadium
Away Games: the majority are at local high school stadiums

  • Admission $5 adults, $4 Kids
  • The regular season runs from August – November
  • Playoffs/AAU Nationals run from November – December.
  • Teams that qualify for playoffs and AAU Nationals will continue weekly practices after the regular season ends.
  • Football players are asked to be at the field before their game time for warm-up and book check.  Your coach will let you know what time to report.
  • Cheerleaders are asked to be at the field before their game time for a book check.  Your coach will let you know what time to report.

CHEER COMPETITIONS

  • We usually participate in 3-4 competitions; it could be more or less depending on the team's place.
  • They are held on Saturdays or Sundays.
  • More information will be available later in the season

Expected Season Expenses For Football & Cheer Athletes/Families:

  • Practice jerseys, practice pants, BLACK GAME pants, and cleats – Football
  • Game Day socks and BLACK Pants – Football
  • Practice t-shirts and shorts – Cheer
  • Game Day drinks and snacks – All athletes take turns providing drinks and snacks for their team.
  • Water bottle/jug for practice and games (nothing plastic)
  • Admission to football games
  • Concession stand food & beverages at games
  • Cheer competition-bows
  • Cheer competition fees
  • Admission to cheer competitions
  • Donations for coaches end of season gifts
  • End of season party – food/drink donation

IMPORTANT POLICIES

Bad Weather Cancellation Policy

In the event of questionable weather conditions, please report to practices and games unless your coach/team mom notifies you that practice is canceled or a notice that practice is canceled is posted on our Falcons website or Facebook page.  Weather conditions can vary by location, and it may be raining at your home but clear at the practice or game fields. Our coaches keep a close eye on the weather and do their best to inform everyone of weather-related cancellations.

Absence Policy

Excused absences for athletes include illness, family emergencies, excessive homework, and school or church functions. Please inform your coach before your absence, if possible. Athletes who do not attend at least five games will not participate in football playoffs/championships or cheer competitions.

Academic Policy

All 10U Pee Wee through 14U Varsity athletes must maintain a 2.0-grade point average to participate in football playoffs/championships or cheer competitions.
